Job insecurity, work-o-holism, work defining our worth are all reasons for bringing back the sabbath. But not the sabbath of the Old Testament, the sabbath as fulfilled by Jesus who said himself that he was 'Lord of the Sabbath'. We need sabbath but only through Jesus.

This whole series is geared towards asking questions post-modern urbanites are likely to ask and this talk looks at Christianity's claims of exclusitivity. The talk is good because Tim Keller looks at the motivation and the logic behind the objection that the exclusive claims of Christianity make it unfair.

White Horse Inn. N.T. Wright is a bit of a mystery to evangelicals. On the one hand, there are few better theologians to have ever written about the resurrection in the way he has and yet at the same time his theology of justification seems well off-base, if not neo-orthordox. He's a big advocate for The New Perspective on Paul, which says that we've got Paul wrong and read him through the eyes of Luther. As is usually the case with people who say that 'everyone else has got it wrong', it's normally they who have made the error. But we need to understand before we can criticise and this discussion helps.
