Posted: May 27, 2008 by Matt
We’re continuing in our ‘Ask Anything‘ series. This week Wes looked at the question: What is the biblical role of women in the church? You can download Wes’ talk from our podcast section Here are some of the books Wes recommends:
On the pro side (women have as many opportunities in the church as men)
- Why not women: A fresh look at scripture on women in missions ministry and leadership* – Loren Cunningham and David Joel Hamilton
- 10 Lies the Church Tells Women – J. Lee Grady
- I suffer not a woman – Richard and Catherine Clark Kroeger
And just to balance things up, here are the books Wes recommends from the opposing view (women have less of a role in the church than men)
- Recovering Biblical Manhood – John Piper and Wayne Grudem
