Well we’re off and running…
It’s great to finally have arrived and to begin to get involved and after just a few days to have got round to see a some of the church, and some of the ministries as well.
There is such a lot to be thankful for and such a lot to look forward to.
I must admit to being overwhelmed and daunted with what lies in front of us, but also really privileged to be able to serve the church.
One thing that was a huge encouragement for me was the pre-service prayer on Sunday morning, when I closed my eyes there were just a few of us, and when I opened my eyes there were about 20 people all praying and preparing themselves for the service!! Wonderful!! I would encourage you all to join the pre-church prayer if you can, prayer is the heart of everything we do. It positively impacts every area of the church, but especially our attitudes towards each other and deepens our fellowship and level of commitment to each other.
Looking forward to meeting up with everyone, sharing needs and praying for you.
I am also committed to talking with all the ministry leaders to find out where we are and where you feel God is leading your ministry! Your thoughts and comments about current church practices and future possibilities and opportunities will be appreciated.
